Old Northleans Community

Hello all! Any one out there from 1970 to 1975 A class? I am Julio da Silva. Forgot most names... but remember Harmsworth, Dormer, Kathryn Lehman, Louise.Gatland(?)..,Brookstein, Arthur McLeod. Did my A level in 1975. If you have anything to help me recall a few more names that would be great. I am at: julio_s_silva@sapo.pt; jsilva.bobiserve@sapo.pt. Remember Mr. Van der Bijl(Headmaster and French), Mrs. Willoughby, Mr. Joliffe(Biology). I will try to locate some old time pictures to contribute here. What a wonderful surprise finding this site. My Congrats to whoever started this up and is keeping it going. I have been in Portugal since 1977. But will be soon moving out to Angola. See you guys one of these days in some corner of this global village.

I must say I dont remember you (sorry) but I was at Northlea at about the same time as you, I was in Mrs Nichols class, I remember most of the people mentioned. Do you remember my naughty brothers Ralph Hampson or Clive Hampson? They are both ALL grown up and have done very well for themselves. I was married to Raymond Hunter - we have been divorced for many years. Do you remember any of the following Arthur Heron, Lawrence Cooper, Geoffrey Walmsley, Dawn Molynieux, Debbie Hoyt, Dawn Payne, Yvonne Basson, Lynn King, Sharon White, Mary Sexon....

Phew my brain is spitting out these names.

Can sort of remember you, was also in that class, Arthur Harmsworth, Micheal Dormer,  You must remember Dulcie Esterhuizen, Esther van der Merwe and myself Sarah Gibson. Have been looking for someone from our old class for ages, also came across this  website by accident, what a surprise. I have lost touch with my old friend Esther, and hopefully someone will be able to send me her contact details. I live in the Midlands of KZN, South Africa.

Julio, I wish you well in your move to Angola, what are you going to do there though. (Stupid question)

Hi Denise,I was at Northlea and left to go to the UK in 1973. I do not remember you but I was a mate of your brother Clive and in the same  class.It would be great to contact him again after all these years. I remember others we were mates with such as, Andre Carstens, Gary James, Vernon Crowther, Mark Simpson,Richard Duke, Stephen Farrel, Eric terblance. I met Alan Loxton 10yr ago but sadly he died of cancer not long after.Anyway it would be good to hear from Clive and I can be contacted at freedonfighter1@live.co.uk
