I was the O'Level class of 1975, Mrs Lewis was our form teacher for most of my high school career.

Now live in North Carolina U.S.A. farm manager for Smithfields, and breeding Tuli cattle imported as embryos from Zim on my own farm.

We lived in Winston for a year what part are you in? 

 

We live in Raeford in Hoke county, between Fayeteville and Laurenburg. Good fjshing in the Cape Fear and Lumbee rivers and I have a small heavily stocked bass dam behind the house, and the woods are full of Whtetail deer,plenty of conservation and sporting oppertunities.

Hi I was there in 1976 and Mr Bredel was my form teacher. My good friend at school was Anton Nel.  I am now living in Krugersdorp where I have a Towbar Manufacturing Business

Hi Wens, I was in the same class as Anton, the only class member I have had contact with recently is David Hughes who contacted me when I signed onto Rhodiechat. When we left Zim one of the packing boxes that 'strayed' was the one with our address book, lost contact with many old friends as a result!

I have Antons contact number, he is living in Kempton Park and looks just like he did the day he left school.  Mr and Mrs Raubenheimer and Mr Rasher attened the Reunion.  I have a list of all those that did attend if anyone is interested.

I visited Lesley and Brenda (nee Mitchly) Acutt while I was in England, same year but different class at school,they own a small farm near the village of Blackboys!       (I cannot remember the county, somewhere in the south east)

Hi all, Laura here (nee Van Nierkerk).  Am living in Durban and still happily married to Eric van der Westhuizen (25 years this year).  Both Eric and I are active bikers and ride for Full Circle MCC.  Eric rides a Yamaha YZF1000 Thunderace and I ride a Yamaha XJR1200.  My side kick Margaret Tagg (nee Joubert) are still in contact (she also lives in Durban).  My most memorable time at Northlea was when Margaret and I apple-pied Mr Bijl's bed.  He was not amused i can say.  We certainly did give Mr Bijl and the staff a hard time hey.  Looking back at our teachers and seeing my sons teachers and their lack of caring or dedication, i must say to all the teachers who taught at Northlea, thanks for everything you did for us, and sorry we gave you a hard time.

Well My Name is Gerhard Nell and Anton Nell was my Uncle's son (My Fathers brothers son)

I went to Northlea school in 1973-74-75 , The teachers that i can remember was miss Kets , Mr French , Mr Rasha (Afrikaans teacher)

Cant think of the rest.

I grew up in Nyamandlovu , My Best friend at Northlea was Robert Weatherbourn (I think thats how its spelt)His nickname was Bucky .

 I have misplaced my file with the contact number for Mr Rasher but saw him at the Reunion and he is looking really well and still as sharp as ever.  I believe Mrs Nichols is still doing well.  Mr Bridel is living near Naaboomspruit (?) and I suppose he has stopped selling koeksusters.    Does anyone remeber Mr Morris PT teacher ?

Yes I remember Mr Morris , He was My PT teacher too.I also remember mis Nichols.
