Old Northleans Community

Hi to all of you. I was at Northlea High School from 1985 to 1988. During my time at Northlea I was living in a house on devos avenue in Newmansford. Can anyone remember Angela Gerber, Christine Page, Ntombizodwa Mguni, Hillary Ndebele, Kennedy Madevu, Walter Tittley, William Jobson, Itumeleng Mathe and all those in the class of 88.

What happened to Mr Proctor, Mrs Delang, Mrs Kerz, Miss Chikwanda. I still keep intouch with Mr Paul Damasane.

Well after my time as well,welcome to the forum, things are a little too quiet at the moment!

I was at Northlea 1969-74.  David Morris.  Oh yes.  Always reminded me of a young Nazi Youth member, and his behaviour often wasn't far off!   I heard rumours he had problems, and died early.  A pretty conflicted individual, I think now.  But that's no excuse for bouncing it off your classes...

Daphne Nicholls!  What a GREAT English teacher!  Good to hear she's still going strong (she must be, what, into her late sixties now?).

Remember me Rosemary Pieron, I stayed down the road from Margret and we were all friends.

I stayed in Peard Ave, down the road from Anna Tabaco, remember her? We did the hey big spender show remember. Boy this takes me back. I am in Jhbg and was married for 21 years then I lost my hubby, but I married my children's sunday school teacher and that was 10 years ago. Drop me a mail sometime and say hi to margret. Have you heard from any body else that we went to school with. My sister married Micheal Havenga, but that didnot last long.

I was at Northlea from 1976 to 1979. Was in the pipe band and classmates I rember are Jayne and Adrian Beecham, Nigel Bailes, David Crouch, megan Holmes, Gail Brewer, Helen De Clerk (also in pipe band), Kathy Braddock, Claire Strydom, Bridget Prior. Was in swimming team and played hockey very badly so they made me goalie! I now live in Uk. Anyone now what happened to Debbie Cousins, had 3 sisters, Karen, Lorraine and Lynette...would love to find her again
